1. How this works
buys used phones, tablets, and watches from you. We do not sell devices to the public on this site. This page is about what happens when a sale does not complete — almost always after you mail a device in, we inspect it, and you do not accept a revised offer. In that case we ship your device back to you.
2. In-person sales are final at the point of payment
If we meet locally, you see the final offer before any money changes hands. You can walk away with the device. If you accept and we pay you — cash or another method we both agree to — the sale is done and title passes to us. There is nothing to “return” after that, because you already chose to sell.
3. Mail-in: the full journey
This is the path most returns follow. Same rules as the mail-in section of our Terms & Conditions.
-
1
You ship it in
Use our prepaid label if we sent one, or your own. Keep the tracking number.
-
2
We inspect it
We inspect within of confirming we have the package.
-
3
We confirm or revise
If the device matches what you described, we confirm the original offer. If it does not, we send a revised offer.
-
4
You have
Accept or reject the revised offer in that window. We contact you by text, call, or email.
-
5
Accept → we pay. Reject → we ship it back
If you reject the revised offer, we return the device to the address you gave us. You pay return shipping unless we decide otherwise.
4. Revised offers
The online quote is based on what you told us. After we have the device in hand, the offer can change if we find any of the following:
- cracks or screen damage that was not disclosed
- water-damage indicators
- wrong storage size or wrong model
- a carrier lock or unpaid finance / installment balance
- an activation lock still on (iCloud / Find My, Google FRP, or similar)
- battery health that does not match what you described
- aftermarket or non-genuine parts
A revised offer is still just an offer. You do not have to take it.
5. Rejecting a revised offer
If you do not want the revised number, say so by text, call, or email within . We will ship the device back to the address on your quote.
You pay return shipping unless we decide to cover it. We will tell you the amount before we send it, or deduct it only if you have already agreed to that in writing (including text). We do not ship to a different person or a freight-forwarder without talking to you first.
Reply to the thread we used for the quote, or use the contacts in Section 11. Quoting your original quote reference speeds this up.
6. Cancelling after accepting
You can change your mind about a revised offer until we issue payment. Once we have paid you, the sale is final and we will not ship the device back. If you accepted in person, Section 2 already applies — title passed when you took the money.
7. Devices we cannot return
Some devices do not go back. This is the same rule as our Terms & Conditions.
If a device is blocklisted, still locked to an unpaid carrier or finance balance, or reported lost or stolen, we may withhold it and report it to law enforcement as applicable state secondhand-dealer or pawnbroker law requires. We do not pay you. We do not ship that device back to you.
8. Unclaimed devices
If we cannot reach you, or you do not accept or reject a revised offer, or a returned package comes back to us, we will try you at the phone, email, and text on your quote.
We hold the device for days after our last notice. After that we may treat it as abandoned and handle it as applicable law allows.
9. Shipping damage and loss
Until the carrier marks the package delivered to us and we confirm we have it, you bear the risk of loss or damage in transit. Keep the tracking number. If a package never arrives, file a claim with the carrier. If we sent a prepaid insured label, we will help you with that claim.
If the box arrives empty, crushed, or the device is damaged in a way that tracking and photos support as a transit issue, we will document it and work the insurance claim. We do not pay a buy price on a device we never received intact.
10. Data on returned devices
We do not copy or keep personal content from your phone — photos, messages, accounts. See our Privacy Policy.
We may factory-reset a device during inspection to check that it is genuine, unlocked, and not still tied to an account. If we ship it back, it may come back reset. Back up anything you care about before you ship. Sign out of iCloud / Google and turn off activation lock first. That is still your job, even if the sale does not complete.
11. How to reach us about a return
doing business as
Put your original quote reference in the message. That is the fastest way for us to find the device.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this page. The “Last updated” date at the top is the date the current version took effect. A device already in transit or already in our inspection queue is handled under the policy that was posted when you shipped it. Related pages: Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, and Cookies Policy.
