1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern how you sell a device to . We buy used phones, tablets, and smartwatches from you. You are the seller. We are the buyer.

By getting a quote, booking a meetup, shipping a device, or accepting payment, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not sell us a device.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. It is part of how we work with you, along with these Terms.

2. Who we are

does business as . We buy iPhones, Samsung Galaxy phones (including Fold and Flip), tablets, and Apple Watch devices from the public — generally 2022 models and newer, in any condition.

We buy two ways: we meet you locally and pay on the spot, or you ship the device and we pay after we inspect it.

  • Mail: ,

3. Eligibility

To sell us a device you must:

  • be at least years old
  • be the legal owner of the device, with the full right to sell it
  • have the legal capacity to enter this deal

If you are selling for a business, you must have authority to bind that business. We may refuse a sale if we cannot confirm age or ownership. Applicable state law may also restrict buying from minors even when a parent is involved.

4. Quotes are estimates, not binding offers

The online quote is based on what you tell us — model, storage, carrier, lock status, and condition. It is an estimate. It is not a promise to pay that amount.

The final offer comes after we see and test the device. The final offer may be lower, or we may decline the device, if anything does not match what you described, including:

  • cosmetic grade, cracks, or water damage
  • storage size or model
  • carrier, finance lock, or activation lock
  • whether the device powers on or is genuine

You can accept the final offer, or decline it and keep the device (or have a mail-in device returned under Section 9).

5. Seller warranties

This is the most important section. By offering us a device, you represent and warrant all of the following. Read each one.

  • You are the lawful owner and you have the full right to sell the device. No one else has a claim to it.
  • The device is not lost, not stolen, and not reported as lost or stolen.
  • The device is not on an unpaid carrier balance, installment plan, lease, or financing plan. Any balance is paid off before you sell.
  • The device is not blocklisted or blacklisted on any carrier or industry registry.
  • All activation locks are off. Find My / iCloud is signed out and removed. Google Factory Reset Protection (FRP) is off. Samsung and any other account locks are off. The device is signed out of every account and factory reset before you hand it over or ship it.

If any of the above is untrue, we may refuse the device, withhold payment, reverse a payment, and report the device as required by applicable state law. You remain responsible for the device and for any loss we take because the warranty was false.

6. Our right to refuse or reverse

We may decline any device, for any lawful reason, including condition, demand, or a failed check.

If a device is found to be blocklisted, activation-locked, financed, or reported lost or stolen, we may withhold payment. We may also be required to hold the device and report or surrender it to law enforcement under applicable secondhand-dealer or pawnbroker law. In that case we do not return the device to you and we do not pay you for it.

If we already paid you and later learn the device failed one of the warranties in Section 5, we may require you to return the money. We may also take other steps the law allows.

7. Identification and recordkeeping

Where applicable state law requires it, we will ask for a government-issued photo ID at the time of purchase and we will keep a record of the sale (who sold it, the IMEI or serial, the amount, the date).

If you will not provide ID where the law requires it, we will not complete the purchase. How long we keep those records, and how we use them, is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Data on the device

You are responsible for backing up anything you want to keep, then erasing the device, before you sell it. Sign out of iCloud, Google, and every other account. Remove your SIM and any memory card.

We are not liable for photos, messages, files, or accounts left on a device you sell us. We do not retrieve that data for you after the sale. See the Privacy Policy section on device data for what we do — and do not — keep from the hardware.

9. Mail-in process

If you ship a device instead of meeting us:

  • Packaging. Pack it so it will not be crushed or shorted. Remove the SIM. Do not send chargers or cases unless we ask.
  • Who pays shipping to us. We may send a prepaid, insured label. If we do, use that label and keep the tracking number. If you ship on your own, you pay that postage.
  • Risk of loss in transit. Until the carrier marks the package delivered to us and we confirm we have it, you bear the risk of loss or damage in transit. File any carrier claim for a package that never arrives.
  • Inspection. We inspect within of confirming we have the package. We then confirm the original estimate or send a revised offer.
  • Revised offer. You have to accept the revised offer and get paid, or reject it.
  • Rejecting a revised offer. If you reject it, we will ship the device back to the address you gave us. You pay return shipping unless we decide otherwise.
  • Unclaimed devices. If we cannot reach you, or you do not accept or reject a revised offer, or you do not take a returned package, we will hold the device for days after our last notice to you. After that we may treat it as abandoned and handle it as allowed by applicable law.

10. Payment

We pay after we accept the device at the final offer.

  • In person. Cash (or another method we both agree to) is paid at the meeting, after inspection.
  • Mail-in. We pay after inspection, to the method you chose, once you accept the final offer.

We do not pay before we have inspected the device. Timing of electronic payouts depends on the payment tool you choose. We do not control how long a bank or app takes to show the money.

11. Pricing changes

Used-device prices move with the market. An online quote is good for 48 hours from the time we send it, unless we state a different window with that quote. After that, ask for a new quote. A meetup or a package that arrives after the window is priced at the then-current rate, then adjusted for the actual device as in Section 4.

12. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

  • claim to own a device you do not own
  • sell a lost, stolen, leased, or financed device
  • alter, swap, or hide an IMEI or serial number
  • offer a counterfeit or non-genuine device as genuine
  • misstate model, storage, carrier, or condition to inflate a quote

We will refuse those devices. We may report them. You are responsible for any loss those acts cause.

13. Intellectual property

The site, its layout, text, graphics, and the name and marks belong to or our licensors. You may not copy the site or use our name or marks without written permission. Getting a quote does not give you any license to our content.

14. SMS and marketing consent

Submitting the quote form is express consent for to contact you by call and text at the number you give, including automated messages, about your quote and sale.

If you also check the marketing box, you agree to occasional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Text STOP to to opt out of texts. Text HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of selling us a device. You can get a quote and complete a sale without agreeing to marketing texts.

15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and our quotes are provided as-is. We do not warrant that a quote will stay open, that a meetup slot will be available, or that we will accept every device.

To the fullest extent applicable law allows, is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or substitute devices. Our total liability for any claim related to a sale or these Terms is limited to the amount we actually paid you for that device, or $100 if we paid you nothing.

Some places do not allow certain limits. If that applies to you, those limits apply only as far as the law allows.

16. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold harmless , , and our people against claims, losses, and reasonable costs (including lawyers’ fees) that arise because a device you sold us was not lawfully yours, was stolen or blocklisted, was still locked or financed, or because you breached these Terms.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of , without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

If something goes wrong, contact us first at or and give us a reasonable chance to fix it. If we cannot resolve it that way, either side may use the courts or other remedies available under applicable law.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top is the date the current version took effect. A sale is governed by the Terms that were posted when you accepted the final offer or handed over the device, whichever is later. For a new quote after a change, the new Terms apply.
